Markers for glass work well on Grandma’s mirror:

We took Caleb to see the train display at Stan Hywet Conservatory . There were two of three trains running, but the layout is such that Caleb discovered them over and over again. He didn’t want to leave after a good half hour of enthusiastic watching.

We had lots of fun and ate way too much. We watched Caleb trying to wake “Flippy” the fish with songs — accompanied by Mommy, Ma, Aunt Jean and Stephanie.

It was a great gathering, and we had a great time. Jeff commented that he sees reflections of his younger self among the next generation of youngsters attending Christmas Eve at Aunt Lynda’s.

Cali’s had enough of holiday house guests and changes to her environment. She never complains, but sometimes you can read between the lines.

Marty spotted the cardinal in the holly in the backyard island. This snapshot through the living room window came out better than expected. I did try to get closer, but the sound of the door opening was enough to send him flying.
